We are going to die someday so we should learn to live each day like it’s our last. This is because we were formed from dust and God breathed life into us, therefore we are not just physical beings but spiritual beings as well. And as spiritual beings we should learn that we should put God first and every other thing will come to us. Life here is a shadow of life in Heaven so what we do here reflects on life in Heaven. We should also not dwell on physical things because they will disappear. As seen in the story of Lazarus and the Rich Man, we need to spread the Word of God to those who do not have it. The Rich Man represents us who know the Word of God but do not share that joy with others. The Poor Man represents those who do not have the Word of God but are yearning for His Word. Having a humble and earnest heart for God is the key to life and making it to Heaven.
